After spending most of my life in the music business performing across the world with various bands including 'Marmalade', of 'OB LA DI' fame, I decided around eight years ago to dedicate myself full time to my other love, photography. I've always been passionate about photography and hopefully you will see that I really care about my work. My first weddings were back in 1979 while still working as a musician and both careers ran side by side until I felt that photography was more important to me. Having recently moved to the beautiful area of Bournemouth, Dorset, I hope to repeat the success I've enjoyed in The Midlands and I also hope to meet and make a lot of new friends in my new home. My approach to wedding photography is to make people feel comfortable and relaxed and not be intimidated by having a camera thrust at them. I pride myself on my ability to blend in and to be as unobtrusive as possible, while still maintaining control and getting the shots that you want. While some posing of photographs is necessary, my main aim is to create a photographic documentary of your day as it unfolds for you to re-live time and time again and also have some fun along the way. Remember, after all the celebrations of your wedding day are over, all you'll have left are the memories that your photograghs and DVD will give you, so it's really important to make the right choice of photographer. Below is a complete decription of the weddings services I offer. I photograph your whole wedding, or civil ceremony, from start to finish according to your instructions, incorporating classic traditional and reportage styles with a mixture of colour, black & white and sepia photographs with no set limit to the number of shots taken. This includes, if you wish, a home visit prior to the wedding, right up to the first dance. I then present them to you in 2 photo albums with up to 250 7" X 5" prints and possibly more, along with a digital CD of all your pictures for you to copy, or get reprinted, for all your family and friends at any time you wish in the future. Plus, if that wasn't enough, I also include 3 interactive DVD slide shows of all your photographs, with Hollywood style transitions and music, for you to watch and enjoy your wedding day on your TV for years to come.
